This attractive grey kitchen was designed for a keen cook. Our clients from Nursling fell in love with the simplicity of the new painted Mackintosh Savoy door. They then chose grey tones for their new Kitchen. The Mackintosh Light Grey and Anthracite gave the greatest contrast of greys. To complement the cabinets the clients deliberated over their choice of worktop texture and colour. Once they had decided upon Quartz by Silestone they visited a huge warehouse in Hook to view scants of quartz to enable them to make the perfect choice; Silestone Desert Silver in 20mm thickness. At it's base, the worktop is a lovely smooth grey which sits between the two tones of the painted units. It has a fantastic white vein running all the way through each slab

Our client cooks professionally and needed a bank of appliances that would help her workflow when she was cooking large meals for personal dinner parties. For that reason, there are two Neff pyrolytic slide and hide full-size ovens either side of a full-size full steam oven. In the tall bank of units hidden away is a full height fridge and a full-size freezer, the Island is home to the Neff wide flex induction hob with a downdraft extractor

Herbert William undertook the management of the entire project. We organised the removal of a wall to integrate two large rooms into one, we suggested the blocking up of a backdoor that created a super entertaining space in the bay window which before was wasted. They now have a round table for entertaining in this area. We re-configured the walls into the Utility room to create a more useful space. All finished off with new flooring and new decoration. Our clients were lucky enough to have holidayed through part of the project and returned to quite a different look!
