A young family had recently purchased a Southampton Townhouse from an elderly relative.  They were renovating the entire house located near The Avenue in Southampton.  Their desire to have a “classic English” kitchen had been halted when visiting alternative suppliers who were always out of their budget.

They came to the Herbert William showroom, after recommendations, with photos of their dream kitchen they had collated from Pinterest, hoping to get the look they wanted at the price within their budget.

With two young children under the age of 5, their kitchen also had to be practical.  We helped them achieve the practical yet pretty kitchen of their dreams within their budget.

The units are Mackintosh Edwardian Painted. This traditional-style kitchen gave them the classic look they wanted and with in-frame effect doors to maximise space.  The kitchen was available in a choice of 10 painted colours and we chose Taupe to give a restful, muted feel to the busy family home.  Consistent with the traditional feel we added shell pull chrome handles and finished off the end of the units with tongue and groove.  The sink completed the traditional look with a  double Belfast caple double down farmhouse.

To bring a contemporary twist to the townhouse kitchen the worktops selected were Samsung diamond white Quartz worktops to help reflect the light, along with a chrome freestanding Bosch American style fridge freezer and spotlight lighting.
